The short version

This site does no tracking. There is no analytics script, no cookies, no accounts, and no personal data is collected or stored. There is nothing to opt out of because there is nothing being collected in the first place.

What actually happens when you load this page

Your browser talks directly to a small number of third parties to render the map and, if you ask for them, restaurant reviews. Those services necessarily see your IP address, because that is how the internet works, not because this site hands it to them:

Mapbox serves the map tiles. Your browser requests them directly from Mapbox's servers, so Mapbox sees the request and the IP address it came from.

Google is contacted on demand, only when you open a restaurant's detail panel and expand "Ratings and reviews." That request also goes straight from your browser to Google, and Google sees the IP address the same way it would for any web request.

Neither of those requests is initiated or logged by this site's own servers, and this site does not add any tracking parameters, pixels, or identifiers to them.

This site's own API

The restaurant, health-grade, and transit data you see comes from this site's own API endpoints (for example /api/restaurants). Those endpoints serve public restaurant information and do not log anything personal about who requested it, no IP address retention, no user identifiers, no analytics events.
